Cosmetology

1500-HOUR COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM

The PACE cosmetology program of study consists of 1,500 hours and is completed in 43 weeks. Students will receive extensive theoretical and hands-on learning with an emphasis in advanced services.

Students will learn:

• Haircutting and styling

• Color formulation and advanced application techniques

• Chemical straightening and keratin treatments

• Chemical waving

• Hair extensions

• Advanced skincare and nail services

• Business development and operations

Once students have completed the theoretical and hands-on sections of the curriculum, they begin taking clients in the student salon. PACE offers a full-service menu, allowing students to perfect their craft on a busy professional salon floor, while working with a diverse clientele.

PACE will also lay the foundational entrepreneurial skills to enable students to master successful business operations. The PACE cosmetology program prepares students for a successful career in the beauty industry. 

PACE students will choose a pathway to further explore and expand their skills, knowledge, and interests to prepare for a rewarding career.

• Pathway Option 1: 1,500-hour advanced Cosmetology program with an emphasis on advanced skin care techniques including dermaplaning, eyelash and eyebrow services such as brow lamination, lash lifting and extensions, sugaring hair removal and more!

• Pathway Option 2: 1,500-hour advanced Cosmetology program with an emphasis on entrepreneurship including business planning, salon operations, financial planning, marketing and more! 

• Students have the option to complete both pathways. We offer flexible class schedules to licensed professionals as well.
